Packed this morning and finished the jackalope, then left a bit before 12:30 to drive up to Westchester for Lunacon. It took about an hour, with the usual slowdown on the Hutchinson River Parkway. Had a very nice dinner in the consuite; they had fajitas--yummy! Then crashed in my room for a little while until it was time to head down for tribble-making. Full house--eight people--all of whom finished successfully. Two of them were novices, but they still finished in good time. Finished the prep for my art demo earlier than expected, so I was able to leave just after 1:00. (Could have left even earlier, but that seemed excessive.) Checked into my room, put my stuff in the art show, picked up my programming schedule, but no badges available yet. The Lunacon program is up, although there will probably still be some changes. I'm hoping they'll add me to another panel; two isn't enough for a free membership. There's even an empty slot for an art demo; I told them I could do that, but I'd really be scrambling to do the necessary prep in time since I wasn't expecting to need to.

I had two panels today: another YA panel, which went very well, and my suggestion How Do Books Get on the Shelves?, which only had one and a half people in the audience.
